The Swiss company Rohner is now selling their merino wool socks in the United States. Their socks are made in Europe, and all of their fabrics are European as well!
I had the chance to test a pair of their women’s light hiking socks, and loved the length, strategically placed cushioning, and overall comfort.
I did find that I preferred wearing the Rohner light hiking socks with liner socks, rather than just on their own. They wicked sweat better that way. I love wearing my liner socks, and the combination of the Injinji toe sock liners and Rohner light hikers worked great for me on the trail.
