I’ve long be a fan of toe sock liners, which I wear under my hiking socks to prevent blisters. When I’m at home, I love wearing flip flop sandals.
Yet even summer mornings in California can be quite cold, and I got tired of having cold feet 🙂
So I bought a pair of Injinji Split Toe Socks. As you can see in the picture below, I love ’em!

While the split toe look used to take people by surprise, now that Vibram Five Finger shoes are becoming more popular, the split toe sock is joining the fashionable group.
I wear mine with flip flops, but when I’m ready to slip into my running shoes, I keep my split toe socks on and find them to be extremely comfortable for high performance uses.
The only drawback is that I wish they came with a broader color assortment. I’d like to own a few pair besides just the plum/baby pink combo.
