Avid readers of Hiking Lady know that happy feet are pretty much the most important factor for happy hiking. In addition to boots that fit well, and laces tied the right way, you’ll want a pair of quality insoles.
Lucky for you, OrthoLite has offered one lucky Hiking Lady reader to win a pair of OrthoLite Fusion insoles in their shoe size!
OrthoLite Fusion insoles are designed to fit all athletic and outdoor shoes and boots, and a few key benefits are that they are breathable, moisture wicking, machine washable, and retain their structure over time. Most insoles go flat after lots of wear, and you lose the support your feet and arch need. OrthoLite says that their Fusion insoles retain more than 95% of their thickness over time!
Just write a short comment below and you’ll be entered. Thanks OrthoLite!
Winner will be chosen January 31, 2014. Good luck!
Happy trails!
Update 1/31/14: Winner announced!

Thanks so much Carol. I’m looking forward to these. My address has been emailed to you!
I could really use a pair of these before my next backpacking trip in the spring. I recently purchased a little larger hiking boot and liner socks after just about loosing a toenail after my last long hike. These would be the icing on the cake.
I just bought a new pair of boots and could sure use new insoles for them.
I love these insoles! I use them on all my hiking shoes. I really need them!
Love OrthoLite and love the Hiking Lady!
These would come in handy hiking those trails this summer!
Been looking for a new pair since the puppies mistook mine for teething chew!
My poor boots could use new insoles.
I just discovered you! Glad to find your tips!,
Wow ! These would be fantastic for hiking this spring .
They look pretty comfy .
Aloha! I bet that these Ortholite insoles are just what I need to help keep my size 9 feet dry hiking those ridges in the Koolau and Olomana ranges over on Oahu! (Heh Heh!). I’ll be posting a blog with plenty of insane panarama for those of you not fortunate enough to partake of my beautiful Hawaii!
A Hui Ho! Elle Meier, Keepin it Real!
Great blog Hiking Lady! So nice to have a woman’s perspective and advice on all things hiking and backpacking! Thanks again!
Thanks so much for all the work you do on here! LOVE your blog!
Would love to try these to help with my knee & feet pain during my workouts.
Hiking the GC in April and would really love to have them!
I’m a new hiker, trying to widen my range of gear for an upcoming spring adventure. These seem to be perfect to add to my collection! I’d love to give them a try. happy new year!
New boots, new insoles! Then rejuvenate your boots again after 500 miles with a new pair of insoles. Will have to look into the Ortholites as I have a “heavy heel” and flatten insoles.
I’ve never tried these but I bet they’d be great.
In the past year I’ve invested in insoles. Its mostly because of my husband who has high arches and pretty much has to buy insoles when he buys new shoes. I’m hiking the Inca Trail in April and I can always use more insoles.
So need these. Still nursing my missing big toenail 4 months later! Inserts are the answer to a great fit! Section 2of the AT is scheduled this fall!
They could certainly come in handy when we hike the Tetons this summer!
i could definitely use a pair of good insoles for my long hikes.
Nedd to make my shoes more comfy. Hoping to do 50 mile in 24 hr challenge in spring.
I could finally get rid of the Dr. Scholl’s!!!
Happy and happy legs with ortholite, i hope
I can try them
Hope I win! Hiking the AT in May! Love your website! Great info & tips!!!
Insoles do indeed make happy feet! Especially for those of us w/ foot issues.
I am going on a long distance hike in the Spring. I have had a difficult time with insoles – holding up and not hurting or heating up my feet while walking long distances. I would love to give these a try as I have heard good things about them!
On this snowy day, dreaming of my 2014 hiking trips! Would love to use Ortholites on the trail.
After about 2,200 miles on my boots the insole is finally showing wear and tear. Thanks @LOWA for a great pair of boots, even if the best fit was a woman’s pair.
I’ve been looking for a good pair of insoles and these look like they would hold up pretty well.
