I’ve never thought of trekking poles or walking sticks as having the potential to be beautiful…and perhaps it is because I have typically used the aluminum or carbon fiber poles from outdoor stores. Recently I had the chance to try out a pair of solid wood, hand crafted U.S. made walking sticks from a company called Brazos.

    I agree DSD! Thanks for reading. I just spotted an entire lineup of beautiful Brazos walking sticks in Moab, Utah (I’m exploring Arches National Park!). I snapped a photo of the hiking sticks and will upload them to Facebook once I’m back home.

    Those are beautiful!
    Natural wood has such a different feel and character to it.
    May have to check these out very closely. 🙂
