I bought a pair of these last winter and got lots of use out of them, and look forward to using them again this year. They are less bulky than other ski gloves I own, and provide a lot more freedom of hand movement. I have found them to be great for snowball fights all winter long, and of course snowshoeing, alpine sports, and snow camping.
My favorite features of the North Face Montana Ski Gloves is the zippered pocket on the back of the hand where you can slip in keys or a handwarmer, and also the soft pad on the thumb designed to make a quick nose wipe comfortable.
I like having waterproof gloves like this with me when hiking or snowshoeing in the winter because they offer much more warmth and protection from the elements than fleece gloves.
