#MeetTheMoment, forget the below zero cold in Minnesota! Heading West, with my art stuff in tow, I’m hiking and painting the California coast. Life doesn’t get better than this! Being outside observing nature, painting and sketching. It’s so beautiful.

My #MeetTheMoment adventure was taking my 3 year old and 5 year old backcountry camping (for the 1st time) at Lake O’Hara in Yoho National Park. It poured for half of our three day trip, but they kept hiking with smiles on their faces. I love that their favorite thing they did this summer was hike to Lake Oesa (one of the dayhikes we did on that backcountry trip).
