Cute Hiking Clothes for Women?

Cute Hiking ClothesI’ve searched high and low, and I’ve finally found some cute hiking clothes! I got tired of wearing super baggy hiking pants and the oversized field shirts. Just because I love the outdoors doesn’t mean I need to dress like a guy!

Check out the cute hiking clothes I’ve found, and let me know if you suggest any others!

Happy Trails!

In defense of baggy pants and oversize shirts–they let you breathe, they allow you to move, and finally, they make it harder for mosquitoes to find your skin.

My favorite shirt for the trail? Believe or not, a huge, ruffly white Renaissance fair shirt, the kind you wear with a corset. I skip the corset on the trail, wear my tattered vest of many pockets, and get more compliments on that shirt! It’s awesome, loose and breezy and cool and the mosquitoes can’t find me in it. It washes up beautifully, too–and I don’t get sunburned in it.

Pants? Gramiccis are like wearing pajamas. Awesome, hella comfey and have held up pretty well.

Yeah, I know, it’s a matter of perferances. I could care less about looking like a girl. I want comfort and freedom of movement and as few mosquito bites as possible.

Finally, there is something to be said for high visibility colors. It makes you easier to find should you be lost–rescue, or gods forbid recovery, is much easier for the searchers if you wear brilliant colors.
