Another great joke from the herb garden, courtesy of my friend Jacqueline Clifford… “If someone asks for help in the herb garden, you can certainly give Sage advice if you have Thyme.”
GORP in hiker land is our favorite snack, Good Old Raisins & Peanuts. I was chatting with my humorous friend Jacqueline Clifford, who of course had another wonderful play on works when I brought up the subject: “Peanuts are naturally shy… they stay in their shells.”
I had a similar situation with an aggressive squirrel in the Sierra Nevadas recently… Special thanks to the very talented and creative hiker, Geolyn “Boots” Carvin, for letting me share her hilarious cartoons.
