The women’s North Face Denali jacket is a very popular and flattering fleece jacket (a Mid Layer). I have yet to head to Denali in Alaska, but my North Face Denali jacket has had more use than any other hiking apparel I own.
I first got mine to keep warm in the winter, especially in around town on brisk fall days. Then I decided to wear it hiking, and it is now my go to fall/winter hiking mid-layer. I often wear it as an outerlayer on local day hikes, summer days in the mountains, and even on misty days. If there is a major downpour, you’ll want to put on a rain jacket, but I have found my North Face Denali jacket to keep out moisture really well in moderate rain and snow.
Not only is it be durable on the trail (or even on the slopes!), it is lightweight, keeps me warm, and has lasted for years. Plus, it looks great when I need something warm to wear around town. I’ve had my Denali Jacket for almost 10 years and it is still going strong!
