This year is the 100th anniversary of the United States National Park Service, and as part of the celebration they are offering free entrance to national parks on various days in 2016.
Be sure to mark your calendar and plan some adventures!
Free Entrance to National Parks Days in 2016:
- April 16-24: National Park Week
- August 25-28: National Park Service Birthday
- September 24: National Public Lands Day
- November 11: Veterans Day

Thank you for the information about the free days at the National Parks. I’ve marked my calendar. As always, you share a lot of good info.
For those that are current military (or dependents), they can get in free all year long. The active duty member does NOT have to be present (they just need to be a second signer on the card).
