So what do you eat on the trail? When I’m out hiking, I know that I’m burning lots of calories…in fact I wrote a post on that topic awhile back (Calories Burned Walking & Hiking).
Burning calories means that I can justify eating more food than usual, because on the trail food is fuel ๐

Hi Happy Camper! Do you stop to heat up your burgers at lunch time? I’m guessing you pre-grilled them if you take them along during the day on a backpack trip. I’d be curious to know how you do it! Happy trails.
When we go backpacking, we usually bring chips, energy drinks, and lots of water. During lunch time burgers are our energy food. ๐
