Just catching up after many recent wanderings, and all of these have been a seeking after inspiration out there, be they of nature, connection, serendipity, beauty, mystery, joy, and all the other wonderments that evolve from the seemingly simple act of hiking among the wild places…

But yes, I know what you mean. Once, when my son was little, we were hiking through the redwoods. He was chatting away about something and my husband said to him quietly, “Hush, honey, this is mama’s church.”
