– Ansel Adams
Take A Break and a Look Around
βIt is easy in this pompous age to scan the big things of the world and forget to see the small miracles of life around us; the morning light, the flowers, those intimate details of the world that combine to make it beautiful.β
Enjoying every part of nature is truly a blessing especially if you do it for a living. The peace and relaxation it gives us, taking us away from the busy world. π
Thanks, Carl. I’m glad you enjoyed it as much as I did π
Beautiful Ansel Adams quote. So many of us know him for his photography. Thank you for reminding us to cherish his words, as well.
Thanks for your comment, Donna!
Lovely quote from Ansel Adams. I agree with Ron that the older I get the more I appreciate the little things in life.
Now I stop to “smell the roses”.
“Take a break and look around”
Excellent advice! Take a look each day at some of the miracles of nature and also do not forget to laugh each and every day, even if it is by yourself or at yourself – ENJOY!
Wonderful quote by Ben Franklin! Thanks for sharing, Ron.
I found that the older I got the more the details around me were important to having a good life. When your young you overlook the beauty of nature and focus yourself on what I now call the non-essential stuff in life. Benjamin Franklin once said that “He that is rich need not live sparingly, and he that can live sparingly need not be rich”.
I was recently hiking, the first trilliums of the year were out, and no one else on the trail seemed to notice them. Such a shame!
Thanks for sharing. I like your blog!
