Ok, so the summer sale season is definitely now in full swing. The great thing about hiking and backpacking, is that once you have all the gear, you really don’t need to buy more of it. Or do you? 🙂

I always want to try the latest and greatest products, the ones that are lighter weight, or better quality, or have unique features.

When retailers have their massive summer clearance sales, I look to stock up and get ready for next season.

Patagonia is having a big sale and the Patagonia down sweater jacket is finally on sale.

REI summer sale starts August 27th. I’m gonna stock up on Mountain House food, and of course a few Clif Bars.
