Alaska is one of the last wilderness frontier in the United States. With the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge, Denali National Park, countless forests, and half of the world’s glaciers, there is a lot of exploring to do!
A Hiking Lady reader is looking for suggestions for her summer trip to Alaska.
Has anyone planned a low cost side trip in Alaska? Check out my suggestions for her.
If you have suggestions too, please leave them in the Comments below so Natalie can plan the trip of a lifetime! Thanks!
I like what you are doing! Blogs like ours, should give our readers low cost options for outdoor adventures.
A trip to Alaska is on my “to-do ” list. The biggest concern for me, is how to get there ( fly, ferry ride or a road trip, along the beautiful Alaska highway ).
Unfortunately, for parks like Denali ( or Rainier in our state ) there are not that many ( really ) low cost options , especially for somebody short on time.
I would recommend to look up local meetup groups ( meetup.com) or Craigslist ( activity partners).
