Have you been to South America? I have yet to go, but after seeing this video I can’t wait to head down there. One of my dream trips is to trek through Patagonia, and the Torres del Paine. Then I want to check out the Galapagos Islands, and hike the Incan Trail. That’s probably at least 3 separate trips, so I better start saving and planning!

I just watched this PBS Series called Nature: Extreme Lands of the Americas, and was amazed to learn so much about South America. The aerial photography, detail on geographic history, and gorgeous vistas make this a fantastic film.

Plus, there is a bonus feature – a second film about Death Valley, and adventure racers who attempt to conquer the driest desert in the world.
