Talk about a disappointment! When I watched National Geographic’s Surviving Everest, I was expecting a scientific view on the mankind’s attempts to climb Everest. Perhaps a review of the first climbs through the modern day.

Rather than calling the movie “Surviving Everest”, it should be titled the history of Sir Edmund Hillary’s life in the Himalayas. I think you can guess how I ranked Surviving Everest in my movie review…
