Have you heard of OMM? If you’re in the United Kingdom you probably know the brand quite well, and are familiar with the Original Mountain Marathon adventure races.
For the rest of you (like me!) you’re in for a nice surprise. These guys manufacture some extremely high quality, highly technical products designed for adventure racers, but would be great options for hikers and backpackers. Unfortunately they are not sold in the United States (yet!) but hopefully one day they’ll have their product available over here too.
I’ve been wearing an OMM Kamleika Smock for the last several times I’ve been out on a trail run or hike, including this weekend in Southern California!
