This month we have a very special prize for one lucky Hiking Lady reader – a linen-bound copy of the hardcover Climbing Fitz Roy, 1968: Reflections on the Lost Photos of the Third Ascent. This book was complied by legends in the mountaineering community: Yvon Chouinard, Dick Dorworth, Chris Jones, Lito Tejada-Flores and Doug Tompkins. It presents a photographic journey of these young adventurers, who went on to be business and environmental leaders.
Many of you may know Yvon Chouinard, the founder of Patagonia clothing. He and Doug Tompkins were the subjects of a highly recommended movie, 180 Degrees South.
