It’s April, so you know what that means? Free admission to U.S. National Parks!

What’s Happening at the U.S. National Parks?

  • On Saturday April 18th and Sunday April 19th, you can get free admission to any of the national parks!
  • Saturday April 18th is also National Junior Ranger Day. Your children can participate in special hosted activities and get sworn in as junior rangers!
  • April 22nd is Earth Day! Join in the celebrations and community “clean-ups” at a National Park

Where will you go this year? The National Park Service website can help you find a park.

Stay and save

Thousand Trails Our friends at Thousand Trails are offering a free 1-year National Park Pass to anyone who purchases a Thousand Trails Camping Pass during National Parks Week.

What is a Thousand Trails Camping Pass? It provides access to up to 23 Thousand Trail RV resorts and campgrounds in one of five regions in the U.S. You pay upfront and select a “zone”, and then you can get flexible, any-time access to one of the many Thousand Trail properties in the zone you chose!

Thousand Trails wants you to get outside, and enjoy access to U.S. National Parks for free for an entire year. That’s a good incentive to plan a trip!

Happy trails!
