 Gates of the Arctic National Park and Preserve, photo courtesy of NPS Since there are 8 U.S. National Parks in Alaska, it will take careful coordination and planning to reach them all. The 2 northernmost parks, Kobuk Valley and Gates of the Arctic offer the additional challenge and adventure of needing to fly in. Have you been to Kobuk Valley or Gates of the Arctic? Here’s my advice about traveling to those 2 parks!
