A prAna Essential

Besides hiking, I’ve also been doing some rock climbing recently. It is an exhilarating sport that definitely challenges my mind and body! I’m hoping that it will help me overcome my fear of heights :)

In addition to a good pair of climbing shoes, the other essential equipment is a chalk bag. Climbers use chalk to keep their hands dry (mine always tend to sweat a lot, especially when I’m nervous), and it provides a stronger grip.

Chalk bags are a handy little pouch to hold climbing chalk.

In addition to being stylish, this prAna chalk bag is really practical because it has a drawcord to close the top, so chalk doesn’t fly out (when I fall) and when the bag isn’t being used.

Plus, there is a nice elastic loop to hold a brush for those climbers who like to clean off holds before making their next move.

Just like my prAna casual attire I love, this chalk bag is high quality, and definitely well made. And for those of us ladies with small hands, prAna makes a women’s specific version that is a little smaller than their regular chalk bag! Cool!
