Tips to Remember

If you are choosing to camp on your vacation, it is important to remember that just because it is summer, the weather can get cold! During the day, many popular summer camping spots can be particularly warm, so to help stay cool, wear light-colors with breathable fabrics. Polyester and nylon shorts are cool, durable, and wick sweat. Hats are also important, and will help protect you and your family from sunstroke and overheating. By night, it can get quite chilly, so pack something light but warm such as a fleece and a beanie to keep your head warm.

These are just 3 great summer vacation destinations for families, there are of lots more. Wherever you go this summer, remember to have fun and stay safe!

Happy trails!
