I’ve dreamed of it ever since I read Colin Fletcher’s The New Complete Hiker at age 19, Um, in 1978.
I’ve gone through two sony cybershots. Great point and click cameras but not real off-road friendly. I canoe the waters of Central NY and the Adirondacks. Hammock and tarp. leave no trace. This would make sharing much easier and last so much longer. Thank you for letting us know about the WASPcam!!!!.

I studied film production in college and have been working in television ever since (about 2 years now)! I work on a survival contest show on History channel and have since gotten very into it all. This camera would greatly help me advance my film skills, especially when I go on a 2 week backpacking/camping trip to the national parks in Utah, Arizona, and New Mexico later in the summer!

Great way to record memories of our adventures outside. Would be used with a great deal of enthusiasm. WASPcam.
I would love to put the WASP thru the paces while hiking, camping, biking, boating, exploring urban and historical locations and outings of every kind. Taking photos of places and events create amazing lasting memories you can share. Having the tools to create those shared experiences is important. I only got the chance to video once back in the mid-1990’s and it was great. I would love finding great places and experiences to share, especially in high definition! I am planning to hike Hadrian’s Wall and the John Muir Trail and these would be awesome experiences to record share in 4K!

We are medium-level adventurers, doing things like the hike to Wedgemount Lake in Canada, hiking in Indian Heaven of Washington State, watching live Rodeos, exploring off the beaten path in China, snorkeling and lava chasing on Big Island, Hawaii, hikes in the Black Forest of Germany and just came back from hiking/climbing around Col de la Schlucht in Vosgese, France. Woohoo! I started a hiking group for local girls and want to start a blog with my hubby this would help us so much!
My oldest son, Michael decided that it has been a very long time since we all went on a vacation together. He has two older sisters and two younger brothers. So, for Christmas this past year (2016) he rented a house in Idaho for all of us to stay in this summer while visiting Yellowstone National Park and the surrounding areas. This trip will include my husband, me, all of our children (5 in total) plus their spouses (4 are married) and their children. We have 4 granddaughters now. Ranging in age from 3 months to 15 years! Plus a niece of mine, her son, who just turned 3 and her boyfriend, then a nephew of mine and one of his stepdaughters will also be going! Oh did I forget, my mother-in-law will be joining us too! We are all so looking forward to this trip and would love to have a WASPcam to record the many memories we will be making on this trip!

Good luck with the WASPcam giveaway! I use a CamelBak bladder primarily, and use the CamelBak Bite Valve Cover. I really like mine. As far as biodegradable soap, I use the castile soap from Trader Joe’s when I camp/backpack to clean dishes. I primarily use wet wipes (non-alcohol ones) to “bathe”. Hope that helps! Happy trails!

I just purchased an Osprey Aura 65 AG. I’m so excited to use it when we hike the Mighty Five this summer! I came to your site to make sure there isn’t anything I could be leaving out. Comfort is my key to enjoyment so I will be taking some luxuries along (pillow, extra underclothes, etc). The two things I’d like to purchase before I go is a cap for my hydration bladder and we need a biodegradable soap. Do you have any suggestions for the soap? My skin is terribly sensitive! Side note: I especially like your deal page too.
