3 Summertime Hiking Essentials

Are you ready for your summer adventures? I can’t wait to hit the trails this summer, and with longer days there will be more time for adventuring!

I’m headed to Yosemite, and I am making sure I’m all geared up for the trip. See 3 items I’m taking along:

Hiking Lady’s Yosemite Essentials:

Coolibar Travel Shirt: Protection from harmful UVA and UVB rays are essential. The Coolibar Travel Shirt is a UPF 50+ rated flattering women’s hiking top. It has mesh panels to keep you cool and is not only moisture wicking but also breathable! I’ll be able to protect my arms from hot sun as I hike in Yosemite.

Eddie Bauer Stormdown 700 Downtek Vest Eddie Bauer Stormdown 700 Downtek Vest: I’ll be packing my new Eddie Bauer DownTEK vest because it can handle cool days and nights, and it will stay warm, even if it gets wet. The special DownTEK fill makes that possible. Check out the new Hiking Lady review of the Eddie Bauer Stormdown 700 Downtek Vest.

Mosquitno Mosquitno Natural Mosquito Repellent: I hate coating my clothes and skin with DEET. The chemicals are serious, and I do everything I can to avoid using it. This summer in Yosemite I’ll be trying out Mosquitno, the natural way to repel those feisty mosquitoes!
