My granddaughters and I are planning our first ever together backpacking trip in Colorado. We are scheduling our trip in July in the Rawah Wilderness Area. My granddaughters, whom I am very proud of, have been busy working and attending the University of Colorado Colorado Springs. Caitlin graduated, and Courtney will graduate this December. I am a devoted grandma and make many trips to Colorado from my Idaho home. I would really like to win the Royal Robins Discovery pants, to wear on our 1st of many backpacking trips.

When I first started hiking I wore jeans but once I discovered hiking pants and how comfortable they are I never looked back! These look stylish as well as functional.

I’ve been patching my favorite hiking pants together a lot lately. Could prolly use a new pair.
I would love to have a pair of these pants to hike in. I am currently in treatment for a liver disease and exercise is a beneficial part of my recovery. I just got the boots and these pants would go perfectly with them!

Being petite, I have trouble finding pants that fit properly and that I don’t have to hem. Which means they usually sit in a bin for months before I get around to fixing them. These sound ideal for my weekly hikes, especially if I can wear them right away without waiting until they get hemmed.

I’m looking to hit the trails this Spring with my new hiking buddies and I definitely need to restock my gear.
I’m new to hiking, just lost weight, and am working on finding the right hiking gear. I would love these pants in my hiking arsenal. I love that these come in various lengths since it’s hard for a short girl such as myself to find hiking pants that aren’t 5 inches too long.
I usually hike in a skirt when it’s warm but there have been several times recently that I would have preferred lightweight pants for more leg protection. These look like they would work out great.

The pants look very comfortable. My husband is currently hiking the AT and when he hits Vermont, I’ll be joining him (I’m a VT-er living elsewhere) for the 100+ miles. I’ll need to buy hiking pants for the cooler temps at the tops of those mtns; these look like they would be perfect. (like the shoes too).
