Hiking Lady’s Utah Adventure

Arches National Park

Have you been to one of the most rugged yet beautiful landscapes in the United States? Last October I went exploring in southeastern Utah for the first time: Moab, Arches National Park, and Canyonlands!

The trip included lots of day hiking to take in the breathtaking views. The vastness of the landscape and the delicate arch formations are otherworldly, and while pictures can’t do them justice, I put together a brief slideshow of my trip hoping it will encourage my fellow hikers to take a trip and see it all for themselves!

Happy trails!

I enjoyed checking out the sights you saw on your adventure in Utah! Some of your photos brought back memories of my visit there last year. What a beautiful place! Thank you for sharing your photos with us.

Hi First Time Trailer! Thanks for the comment. Once you are inside Arches National Park, there are road signs that will take you to the trailhead for Delicate Arch. Once you’re at the trailhead, it is a moderate hike to get there…there is some slippery sandstone and a few areas of exposure, so be sure to wear proper hiking footwear and take it slow. There was a lady who slipped on the way down when I was there in October! Here’s a link to a picture I took of the map to Delicate Arch.

    VERY Nicely done HL!
This will inspire many of your followers to see the same sites for themselves.

I also enjoyed your choice of background music for the pics. Keep up the good work and enjoy more hikes.

Happy Trails to you Hiking Lady.

What an adventure this looks like. I’ve never been there but I’ve seen photos of the “Arch” for years so this looks like my next trip when the weather cools down.
Canyonlands looks spectacular..reminds me of the Grand Canyon. Thanks for sharing!
